LifeCall does not provide any health services, including without limitation, diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. We only notify emergency personnel and other contacts/responders of a system activation and forward information you have provided to us. LifeCall does not verify or validate the accuracy or completeness of any information you have provided to us.
We will share your personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this privacy statement. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may provide your personal information to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities such as shipping your order, providing emergency response services or offering customer service. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.
You understand and agree that in conjunction with employee training, quality control and the provision of services, we may monitor and/or electronically record audio related to monitored activity at your location, as well as conversations with you, emergency services providers, and your contacts/responders. You consent to us using information about you to (i) administer services, offer you new products or services, enforce the terms of the agreement between you and us, prevent fraud and respond to regulatory and legal requirements, (ii) respond to a subpoena or other such legal process, and (iii) use and share aggregate customer information and statistics that do not include information that identifies you personally. If you choose our referral service to tell a friend about our site, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit our site. LifeCall stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. Our web pages contain electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes called single-pixel gifs) and are used along with cookies to compile aggregated statistics to analyze how our site is used and may be used in some of our emails to let us know which emails and links have been opened by recipients.
